Haifa Humaid began with a familiar frustration: beautiful shoes that punish, and comfortable shoes that apologize. Haifa, a Saudi designer with an exacting eye and no patience for compromise, refused to accept that choice.
Every design begins at her table in Riyadh and comes to life in Italian ateliers, where artisans carrying generations of shoemaking tradition cut, paint, and mould each pair by hand.
Calf leather painted by hand, so no two pairs catch the light the same way. Heels sculpted in transparency and finished in graded color. Sneakers in suede and calf, built seamless with every stitch worked from the inside. And beneath them all, insoles cushioned with gel, because a shoe you cannot stand in at midnight has failed at its job.
